Enrolment Plan For Bio Metric Database Membership I.D Card Exercise

THE ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN LICENSED CUSTOMS AGENTS (ANLCA) & ASSOCIATION ELECTORAL COMMISSION (ASECO). WISHES TO ANNOUNCE AS FOLLOWS:

  1. The determination of ANLCA and ASECO in particular to create a credible database of membership nationwide for the purpose of administration, operational, integrity and for the conduct of credible. Transparent, free and fair elections into all offices, nationwide.
  2. The enrolment plan has commenced, start-up point at eastern Zone with this press release, calling for the registration of members with valid Customs License, in each chapters
  3. Enrolment process will include but not limited to information as, personal data educational and employment information with identities as ; facial, finger prints and signature Data capture and authentications
  4. The required documents for the enrolments exercise are as follows;
    • Current year customs license (original to be sighted)
    • Certificate of Incorporation (original to be sighted)
    • Form C07 & CO2
    • Application for staff registration letter duly signed by CO7 directors
    • Receipts of payment of ANLCA –Up-to date national and chapters dues
    • #5000 enrolments receipt of payment evidence per staff
  5. BENEFIT: Among others include, operational integrity, identification card serves as ATM for port activity payment etc.
  6. Only current and operational licenses at customs command of a chapter will be accepted

  8. Finally, please note that ANLCA is by corporate membership. Staff strength might differ.

Election Time Table

Consequent upon last Annual General meeting convention Resolution of Appointment of ANLCA board of trustee dated 14th February, 2014. For a tenure of six (6) years, subsequently, a call for a new appointment of ANLCA board of trustee is hereby made according to ANLCA supreme constitutional provision. Section 13 subsection 4a Please see below details with actual dates to be updated later.

  • Form Purchase / Submission of Intent letter.
  • AGM Attendee/Voters Registration Exercise
  • Closure of Attendee/voters register
  • Display of Attendee/Voters register
  • Review of register
  • Display of Final register
  • Election Date

Voters Requirement List

The following requirements are needed by ASECO for the compilation of authentic AGM attendee voters list.

(PHOTOCOPIES ) Chapter and national Dues Receipts – For the PAST THREE (3) years
(PHOTOCOPIES) Form C-30 of Customs Authorisation – For the PAST THREE (3) years
Original Copy of Company representation letter, indicating the preferred company representative / proxy.

Letters should be addressed to the chairman, ASECO, ANLCA National Secretariat. Plot 347, Block 20, Durbar Road, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos .

Submission will be at the National Secretariat or during ASECO visitation as would be indicated later or through the secretary / chairman

All the above documents originals must be readily available on verification date as would be indicated letter.

Members are hereby warned that multiple authorization nomination letters would be regarded as wilful attempt to subvert the electoral process, punishment is but not limited to outright voters disenfranchisement.
